Kellylee Evans came to recognition as a vocalist when she was awarded second place at the 2004 Thelonious Monk Jazz Vocals Competition, causing the former academic to start a professional career in music. Since then, she has been nominated for both Juno and Gemini Awards, and has opened for legends such as Tony Bennett, Maceo Parker and George Benson. She has studied and recorded with Manhattan Transfer's Janis Siegel, and co-written and performed on saxophonist Jane Bunnett's 2009 Juno Award-winning release, Embracing Voices. Her current release, recorded in France, is "Nina (Plus Loin)" as a tribute to Nina Simone.

Here we present three of Kellylee's compositions, two of which, "Read the Stars", and "Hear the Bells" are Christmas-themed. Sugar Moon Music Inc. is proud to represent the gifts and talents of Ms. Evans.
