Born in Croydon England, Leon Stevenson sailed to Canada in the early 50s and settled in Toronto with his Mum and Dad. Since then, starting in a succession of bar bands through out the 70s, he started writing songs and has had a long career of being in notable bands, the best loved probably being The Extras with Denis Keldie on keyboards. He has explored various genres, currently collaborating with Czech artists and the former front man of Devo, Gerald V. Casale, and is currently the drummer for blues artists Danny Marks and The Paul James Band. But with these recordings he creates his own forthright voice in the blues.
