Julie Michels has a distinctive, soulful sound - honed in clubs and on radio in Europe and throughout North America before she settled in Toronto. She has performed with many of Canada's best jazz players in many top venues and festivals. She is mostly known as an innovative interpreter of others' songs, with material as diverse as Paul Simon and Antonio Jobim. Here is her own composition, "Fall From Grace". Her producer, arranger and instrumentalist is Kevin Barrett (also a Sugar Moon artist). Julie is currently working on more original material.
