Iconoclastic singer/songwriter Desmond Grundy performs solo, in the duo Grundy and Finn and in The Grundy Band. As an underage and impressionable young musician in the 70s, Desmond performed with seasoned unknowns from Hamilton, Ontario playing legion halls and clubs througout the region. After studying drums, guitar, piano and musical theory at the Royal Conservatory of Music and Mohawk College, and a successful theatre career, he has returned to his musical roots with an eclectic assortment of original songs. He has a unique voice sometimes reminiscent of Lou Reed, distinctly edgy.
